If you need to file a claim
- Contact the 24/7 assistance line as soon as possible for emergency care — they can coordinate directly with local providers
- Keep all receipts, medical reports, and documentation for treatment received
- Submit your claim through the administrator's claims portal or by email
- Claims are reviewed against your Certificate of Insurance; coverage is secondary to any other coverage you hold
Precertification for hospital stays
For non-emergency hospital admissions or surgery, precertification is required. In a genuine emergency, seek care first and have someone contact the assistance line as soon as reasonably possible. Full requirements are in the Certificate of Insurance.
